14 Arrested On Sedition Prices After Anti-Terror Raids In Karnataka

As many as 14 individuals have been arrested on fees of sedition following raids by the Nationwide Investigation Company on the places of work of the Common Entrance of India (PFI) and Social Democratic Occasion of India (SDPI) in Karnataka, police stated on Friday.

The arrests passed off in several elements of the state on Thursday, they stated.

In a press release, the Bengaluru Metropolis police stated these 14 individuals have been booked at Kadugondanahalli police station underneath a number of sections of the Indian Penal Code, together with that on waging a conflict in opposition to the nation.

Whereas two individuals have been from Bengaluru, the remaining 12 are from varied elements of Karnataka. They are going to be produced earlier than a Justice of the Peace, the police stated.
