In line with experiences, the youth wing of the BJP is operating a cleanliness drive from September 17, which is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, to October 2, the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi. As a part of this initiative, Mr Mishra visited the college to take part in a tree-plantation drive.
Throughout his go to, the MP from Rewa constituency observed the unhygienic situation of the bathroom on the women’ faculty and determined to wash it together with his naked palms and all by himself.
Mr Mishra later stated that it’s one’s responsibility to keep up hygiene and cleanliness – a message that has been delivered by Mahatma Gandhi and Prime Minister Modi. He added that this wasn’t the primary time that he took half in such a cleanliness drive.
Prime Minister Modi had launched the Swachh Bharat Mission on October 2, 2014. Below the mission, all villages, panchayats, districts, states and union territories in India declared themselves “open-defecation free” by October 2, 2019, the a hundred and fiftieth delivery anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. As a part of this challenge, greater than 100 million bathrooms had been inbuilt rural India, in response to authorities knowledge.
