However, Deepti Sharma ran her out on the non-striker’s finish as she was backing up, to seal India’s win. The 20-year-old was heartbroken as she was walked away in tears after shaking fingers with the Indian gamers. Dean had walked in with England reeling at 65 for seven in chase of 170.

Dean placed on a 38-run stand with captain Amy Jones. Even after Jones and Kate Cross had been dismissed in fast succession, Dean saved England ticking within the chase.
She was finally ran out on 47 by Deepti as India gained the sport by 16 runs to comb the collection.
Notably, this was Jhulan Goswami‘s final worldwide outing, having introduced her retirement previous to the tour of England.
Jhulan bows out of the game, having performed 12 Assessments, 204 ODIs and 68 T20Is for the Indian ladies’s staff.
Having taken two wickets within the match, Jhulan ends her profession with 255 ODI wickets, essentially the most by a ladies’s participant within the format.
